Darby Crouch is a proud fourth-generation Albertan and the granddaughter of farmers and pipeliners from the Sundre and Rocky Mountain House area. Raised with a deep respect for the values that built this province—hard work, personal responsibility, and the promise of opportunity—Darby carries those principles into every step of her public and political life.
A graduate of MacEwan University with a degree in Communications, Darby has built a career rooted in strategic messaging, crisis response, and policy advocacy. She served as Press Secretary to Alberta’s Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, where she helped elevate the voices of rural communities, producers, and industry leaders while pushing back against federal policies that threaten Alberta’s autonomy and economic future.
Darby has demonstrated the courage to step up and stand firm when stakes are high, including her campaign in the Edmonton–Strathcona by-election against NDP leader Naheed Nenshi. It was a race that required resilience, conviction, and the ability to hold the line in tough political terrain.
She is now seeking to serve as Vice President of Fundraising for the United Conservative Party. Darby firmly believes that if conservatives want to protect Alberta’s future, they need the resources to fight and win. Fundraising is the engine that powers campaigns, supports candidates, and ensures a strong and united party. With firsthand experience in both government and political arenas, Darby understands what it takes to build momentum, inspire support, and keep the UCP moving forward.
She’s ready to help fund the fight and make sure the party has what it needs to win and keep Alberta strong.
