United Conservative Leader Jason Kenney has issued a statement following the nomination of Rebecca Schulz as the Party’s candidate in Calgary-Shaw for the 2019 provincial election:
“I would like to congratulate Rebecca Schulz on her hard-fought nomination win tonight in Calgary Shaw.
“Rebecca is an outstanding candidate who brings a wealth of experience in delivering results for constituents. She gained first-hand experience in fighting Justin Trudeau’s carbon tax during her time working with the Government of Saskatchewan led by former Premier Brad Wall. Rebecca’s stellar resume, and dedication to her community will make her an excellent representative. I am pleased to welcome Rebecca to the United Conservative team.
“I would also like to thank Jack Redekop, Dan McLean, and their teams for their participation in the democratic process and dedication to our movement.”
