Devinder Toor wins United Conservative nomination in Calgary-Falconridge

United Conservative Leader Jason Kenney has issued a statement following the nomination of Devinder Toor as the party’s candidate in Calgary-Falconridge for the 2019 provincial election:

“Today more than 2100 United Conservative members in Calgary-Falconridge voted to choose their candidate for the next election from amongst four great contestants.

“I would like to congratulate Devinder Toor on winning this hotly contested race.

“For much of his life, Devinder has been actively contributing to the conservative movement in Alberta, both as a candidate and through his contributions to the campaigns of others. Prior to immigrating to Canada from India, Devinder received a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree but his focus quickly turned to entrepreneurism. Devinder has owned and operated a number of businesses throughout his career and understands the challenges faced by job creators in Alberta. A father of two, Devinder’s dedication to the community and his wealth of experience in the private sector make him an important member of our United Conservative team as we seek to defeat the NDP, reignite the Alberta economy, and bring prosperity back to our province. I am pleased to welcome Devinder as the United Conservative candidate in Calgary-Falconridge.

“I would also like to thank Jesse Minhas, Harwinder Kang, Pete de Jong, and their teams for their participation in the democratic process and dedication to our movement.”
