The United Conservative team took Lethbridge by storm this weekend as they gear up for the 2019 provincial election.
“Over the past several days, our team has met with dozens of community organizations and knocked on thousands of doors all in an effort to earn the support of Lethbridge residents for our plan to renew the Alberta Advantage and get our province back on track,” said United Conservative Leader Jason Kenney. “We want the people of Lethbridge to know that they can count on the United Conservatives to reignite our economy, scrap the carbon tax, and bring common sense back to the Legislature.
On Friday night, the Lethbridge-East and Lethbridge-West constituency associations held a joint fundraiser with record-breaking attendance of nearly 600 supporters, defying original expectations of just over 300. Saturday, some 100 volunteers, MLAs, and candidates to knock on doors in every corner of the city.
“Last night, a jam-packed house came to hear more about our vision for a brighter, more prosperous future and this afternoon, dedicated volunteers showed up in huge numbers to share that vision with residents across Lethbridge. I am overwhelmed by the support our message has received over these last few days,” said Kenney.
