GETTING AROUND

You must be a current member and have purchased or renewed your membership by 11:59 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025. Your membership is not included with your registration fee. If you are not a member, you may attend by purchasing an Observer ticket, but you will not be able to participate in debates or vote.

Provincial Board Members serve two-year terms, with half elected each year. This year, there will be an election for the following positions: President, Secretary, VP Communications, VP Fundraising, and one Director from each region (Edmonton, North, South, Calgary, Central).

To make the AGM more affordable, we have made the Saturday lunch optional. If you choose the meal option, lunch will be provided. Otherwise, you’ll need to arrange your own lunch.

The board election package, including rules and application, will be posted here and emailed with AGM updates. Keep an eye on this page and your email.

No, since the AGM operates on a cost-recovery basis. Registration fees cover event costs, and no profit is made, so no tax receipt is issued as per Elections Alberta guidelines.
