Biography

Born in Westlock, Alberta, Brad LaForge relocated to Calgary with his family in 1971. His life has been marked by business success and a passionate commitment to conservative politics and values.

Brad’s professional journey kicked off at UFA. managing accounts for petroleum agents across Alberta. After a brief stint at RGO in the mid ’90s, he delved into entrepreneurship, owning, and operating two successful ventures. For the past 22 years, he has been at the helm of KoreGroup, a thriving Hospitality Procurement company, and Kore Logistics, a last-mile home delivery company. Recently completed projects include the successful opening of both the BMO Convention Center and Sam Center on the Calgary Stampede grounds. In 2021, Brad achieved a milestone with the successful sale of Kore Logistics, a testament to his leadership. Brad currently sits as a director on the board for Bow Valley Credit Union.

Beyond the boardroom, Brad is a family man, married with two adult children living with their spouses in NW Calgary. He has a strong conviction in individual rights, advocating for freedom of speech and bodily autonomy, especially within provincial politics. He also supports Alberta’s sovereignty, believing in the province’s right to govern itself and make decisions that reflect the needs of its citizens. As a member of the organizing committee for I Am Albertan, he believes that all policies and ideas should be evaluated through the lens of ‘Is this good for Alberta?’. Brad is not just a businessman; he’s a community advocate.

His diverse interests extend to travel, cooking and hockey. With a fortunate blend of work-related journeys and personal adventures, Brad has circled the globe. Whether navigating the complexities of the business world or cooking a meal for family and friends, Brad embodies a life rich in experiences, achievements, and a commitment to values.
