Biography

ABOUT IRMA ROBERTS

Irma Roberts, founder of 847 Law, has practiced in Calgary for over 25 years. A respected lawyer and community leader, she has served as Past Chair of the CBA Southern Alberta Immigration Section, on the CBA National Executive, and as a mentor through the Law Society of Alberta’s Mentor Express and Mentor Connect programs. She also serves on the Legal Aid Alberta Appeals Committee.

As a UCP Provincial Board Calgary Directorformer CA President, and Calgary-Hays Director, Irma has united CA’s, strengthened grassroots networks, and deepened community engagement.

Deeply rooted in her community, Irma assists members of First Alliance Church with immigration matters and has proudly supported her two sons through their post-secondary education. She was a devoted hockey, ski, and track mom, spending more time in arenas, on ski hills, and at track meets than most people spend on vacation.

Her values of dedication, humour, and service guide both her professional and political life.
