Hi, my name is Kelsie Petersen and I’m a candidate for Central Director.
I’m a wife, mom, teacher and a lifelong Albertan. I was born and raised in Central Alberta, and after spending some time in other parts of Alberta, my family and I moved back “home” last summer. My teaching experience spans from public schools to independent schools, to home education as a home educating mom, and now a support teacher for other home educating families.
I’ve been active and vocal about Alberta politics for about 3.5 years, and am now aiming to use my voice in a new way, representing UCP members and Constituency Associations in Central Alberta to the board and the party, and supporting the Central Constituency Associations in growing their reach, engagement and support.
I’m looking forward to meeting many people in the next few weeks to share my thoughts and ideas, as well as hear from YOU what you want and need to see from a successful UCP Board of Directors.
