NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the United Conservative Association has resolved to hold an Annual General Meeting of the members (the “AGM”) at Westerner Park, 4847A 19 St, Red Deer. The AGM will commence on Friday, November 1, 2024, starting at 5:00 p.m. mountain time, with business continuing through Saturday, November 2, 2024.
The purpose of the AGM will be to address the following business:
1. Elections for positions on the Board of Directors as required by the Bylaws;
2. Presentation of the most recently published audited annual financial statements of the United Conservative Association;
3. Consideration of proposals to rescind, alter or add to the Bylaws and constitutional documents (including the Policy Declaration) of the Association;
4. Leadership Review vote, where eligible members will be asked: “Do you approve of the current Leader?”
The Rules and Procedures for the Election of the Association’s Board of Directors will be posted on the AGM website when they are available. A detailed meeting schedule and special rules of order for the conduct of the AGM will be approved by the Board of Directors and distributed in advance of the meeting.
In order to have the right to vote at the AGM, a member must have a valid membership as of 11:59 p.m. mountain time on Friday, October 11, 2024. Full details on pricing and other information are available at www.ucpagm.ca.
