John Middleton-Hope has been a proud resident of west Lethbridge for over 22 years, where he lives with his wife and enjoys time with his four grown children and seven grandchildren. A dedicated community leader, John brings a lifetime of experience in service to others, having served as a police officer, volunteer, coach, and city councillor. He retired as Chief of the Lethbridge Police Service after a distinguished 30-year career in policing.

John’s expertise spans international policing, consultancy, academics, and government. His tireless commitment to public service is driven by his desire to meet the needs of Lethbridge residents, with a focus on public safety, infrastructure development, health care, housing affordability, and education.
