LIVE POLL: PHOTO RADAR

Have Your Say Now!

The United Conservative Party wants your opinion on changes to photo radar in Alberta. Currently, Alberta has about 2,400 photo radar locations, far more than other provinces like B.C., which has only 190. Concerns have been raised that photo radar is being used more as a revenue generator than a tool for road safety.

Devin Dreeshen, Alberta’s Minister of Transportation, has announced plans to reduce the number of photo radar locations to between 200 and 400, focusing on high-risk areas such as school zones and playgrounds. This move aims to ensure photo radar is used for its intended purpose: keeping our roads safe.

We want to hear your thoughts on these proposed changes. Please take a moment to answer the following questions.
