Families keep more because United Conservatives cut taxes

Your paycheque is about to grow.

Starting July 1, the new eight per cent tax bracket kicks in on income up to $60,000. That means real relief. You will see it every time you get paid.

For an individual, that is up to $750 saved this year. For a two-income family, it is up to $1,500. In total, Albertans will keep $1.2 billion more in 2025. That number grows to $1.4 billion by 2028. Money you can use for your family. Not government.

United Conservatives promised to cut your taxes. And we delivered. The NDP voted against this relief. They wanted to take more from your pocket when you needed help the most.

Alberta already has the lowest overall tax burden in Canada. No sales tax. Low fuel taxes. Now a new personal income tax cut. That means Albertans and Alberta businesses will pay more than $20 billion less than they would under any other province’s system.

This is what affordability looks like. Lower taxes. Less pressure. More freedom for you and your family.

United Conservatives are keeping promises and putting money back where it belongs. In your hands.
