Adriana LaGrange serves as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Red Deer-North and the Minister of Hospital and Surgical Health Services. First elected on April 16, 2019, and re-elected on May 29, 2023, she brings a wealth of experience in public service, business, and community advocacy.
During her time in the legislature, Adriana has taken on several prominent leadership roles. She previously served as the Minister of Primary and Preventative Health Services, the Minister of Health, and the Minister of Education.
Before entering provincial politics, Adriana served as a Trustee for the Red Deer Catholic Regional School Division for more than 11 years. She also holds an extensive background as an entrepreneur, having owned a trucking company and operated a family farm. Dedicated to helping Albertans facing physical and mental challenges, she earned a Diploma in Rehabilitative Studies from Humber College in 1981.
A devoted wife, mother of seven, and proud grandmother of seven, Adriana deeply understands the essential role parents play in the development of their children and remains a committed advocate for families across the province.
