Nate Horner serves as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Drumheller-Stettler. First elected on April 16, 2019, and re-elected on May 29, 2023, he brings extensive experience and a deep commitment to his community to his public service.
During his time in the legislature, Nate has held several significant cabinet portfolios. He previously served as the Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, as well as the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Economic Development.
Prior to entering politics, Nate was a rancher with a cow-calf farm operation and an active volunteer in local community organizations. He holds an agriculture business diploma from Olds College and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Lethbridge. A former competitive rodeo athlete, he is also a two-time Canadian Intercollegiate Rodeo Association saddle bronc champion.
